Was using them for SEO work for my company but their lack of communication, follow-up, and results pushed me to look elsewhere.

Fully understand your point but we are a small family-owned business and the lack of communication and lack of care or follow-up is not helpful. Aside from that when going through the SEO report by myself I encountered multiple mistakes on posts with (very) incorrect phone numbers and addresses which kind of defeats the purpose of the posts for SEO.

I appreciate all your efforts to date, but I do not like your service.

Beware of Metaweb: A Cautionary Tale

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Metaweb has been so disappointing that I feel compelled to share. Business owners, please take note.

A few months ago, I signed up with Metaweb to manage my Google listing. They promised to upload photos, manage reviews, and add posts to enhance organic search engine optimization. Unfortunately, none of these promises were fulfilled.

Instead, they posted unapproved images and immediately tried to take full ownership of my business account. When I refused to relinquish full control, they claimed there were duplicate business accounts—a problem that never existed before their involvement. I can only assume they set up something incorrectly on their end.

Rather than fixing the issue, they repeatedly requested full ownership of my listing while continuing to charge me monthly. Despite nearly a year of payments, my account remains untouched, even after they agreed to manage it as an 'editor.'

In my opinion, this company is nothing short of a scam. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration—look elsewhere for your business management needs.
