Had a great experience when moving in. We’ve asked for a few minor things to be repaired/replaced and they were very efficient in getting the job done and checking in.

We've used Lets Rent before when they provided an excellent, reliable and trustworthy experience as a letting agent for our property. We have just rented out another property recently and have been reassured that the standards of service, and good value, have been maintained. The Let's Rent's agent has been very professional, efficient and provided excellent and timely advice to prepare our property for rent. Update: noticed the Google page name change from let’s rent and business seems to have been sold since, probably cause it, rightfully, went out of business (unless they are running away from their terrible reviews and are still the same company) - this review was for let’s rent.

If i could give zero stars i would. I had an absolute nightmare with them from the very start with numerous issues but just to share one example to show what scammers these guys are and how little they care about tenant's legal rights or the damage they cause. Even though they are supposed to sign-off the bond at time of outgoing inspection (at the very least within 24 hours) they stalled and told me they were still determining costs I owed them (despite professional gardener and cleaner being paid for by myself and property in exactly same condition as when I moved in). After nearly 30 days I became concerned and contacted lodgement board to put a claim on the bond myself...turns out they put a claim in, without my knowledge, for the entire amount, on the same day they did the outgoing inspection and had my copy of the claim form sent to the owner's address (knowing I would not receive it). I have 30 days to sign that form to contest or it automatically signs the amount they entered over to the owners....they were hoping I wouldn't notice within this timeframe (I was lucky to have caught it 2 days before the cut off date and put a block on the bond and set a date for the tribunal board). This was not an innocent error and them forgetting to send it to my actual address as we were in contact during this time and I was asking them constantly when they were going to determine amount and release the bond (in all these conversations they 100% knew they had already put a claim on the entire amount and said nothing. Well, not nothing - they made up numerous things that they said were damaged, with zero evidence - as a very responsible tenant this caused me a massive amount of stress as I knew it was a lie). Another factor that points to the malicious nature of this was that, on being caught, they back pedalled and removed any claim on the bond and released entire amount back to me immediately (likely hoping I would not file an offical complaint with whoever oversees this - I was not going down this path as I am well aware of sydney rental market and that noone is overseeing or enforcing these things - which is why real estate agents such as these continue to survive). In their defence, the landlords were as dodgy and greedy as them so I am sure they were also driving some of the behaviour and actions, however, the way these guys tried to distract me from the fact that the bond had already been claimed by them (sending me daily emails requesting structural engineers to look at the non-existent damage) was so ludicrous and caused an untold amount of stress, time and confusion trying to defend myself against their made up claims (only a month later, when I finally realised what they were really up to, did it become clear what was driving this unreasonable behaviour) - it was insane how little regard they had for the damage they caused in my life and work during that time so the already extremely rich owners could get their hands on my 1.5k of bond money (at end of day, I got my bond back and decided not to proceed with formal tribunal as I determined I would prefer to let them keep the other 1k that the owner's swindled from me - unrelated to the agents and driven entirely by the landlords - and never ever have to speak to them again). Going through the other nightmare, and completely dodgy/unlawful, things they did during my tenancy would require an essay format and far more energy than I could ever muster up again. I have never been so disgusted by people's behaviour and was absolutely shocked anyone could treat people like this for relatively small gains (well for the millionaire owners - for me, that amount of money has a very big impact) - to this day I still get a pit in my stomach when I see their logo.
