Really poor real estate company and would not recommend the agent Christie. Didn't return my bond back after my lease agreement and had very poor communication skills. Despite mentioning multiple times to get repairs done, they completely ignored my requests. Overall would not recommend.

Beware! Burdett and Batemans Bay Real Estate run and manage by the same people. It might be cheap but it will cost you lots of nerves!
I had a great record previously with a different real estate agent before I signed a tenancy with this agency due to needed adequate room for me and my two kids. Despite being a good tenant and never had issues within the neighbourhood (as the neighbours told me) paid half of split AC (yes I did) cleaned the house throughly and hire a lawn mowing service prior to handing back the key, my bond was not fully returned.
Tired of emailed and phone called them I came to the point that I just have to sincerely let it go.

We purchased our first home through Burdett Real Estate, which was both the listing agent and the current rental management agent.

Not impressed.
The quality of the listing and photos was pretty average for a rental listing, but well below other agents sales listings.

Not sure why, but they just removed the sale sign after exchange, never worried with a sold sticker. Kind of sucked to miss out on that moment as a first home buyer, but to be honest we didn't really want to give them the free press any way.

Worst people ever, still waiting for my refund 3 month after. So for the story we try to book a property for 4 days after Christmas in September put a deposit of over $200 bucks. They called us in November to tell us that property was only available to booked for a week offered us a eefund. We are January and we still wit for the refund. That is such a dodgy move. Really not recommend those people to any one. No surprise they changed their name recently.

Do not trust a word that is spoken from these agents, once they have your funds it's all over.
No contact on settlement, lucky property purchased was already tenanted by buyer, otherwise who know's how you'd gain access, still have not dropped spare keys to owner 6 months later and said congratulations on purchase.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Joe & Michelle at Burdetts for being such amazing people! I loaned my grandson my furniture to furnish the flat he rented through them only to have him walk out of the flat owing over $1000 in rent & leaving my furniture there to go to the tip! Both Joe & Michelle saved my furniture & stored it until we were able to collect it ! If you're looking for a rental or anything come to someone who cares. Don't go past Burdetts!

BEWARE! If you have to deal with this business be sure you get everything in writing as they won't hesitate to blame their own staff for failing to follow procedures in order to circumvent their obligations. And be prepared to be treated like a second class citizen if you dare to stand up for your rights. I'd give ZERO stars if I could, Going back on their word is the only thing this business seems to excel at.

We are renters and our experience with Burdett's has been excellent. We have always found the staff to be happy and efficient. JOE and MICHELLE particularly have been very helpful to us.
