Had our property leased through Bestwick for 12 months. We decided to sell through another agent towards the end of the tenancy period. During this time our tenants fell behind on their rent which wasn’t notified to us at any time. We got our monthly payment and it was more than half short. When I called Bestwicks there was no one available to give me answers about what was going on. Eventually Mitchell called me himself to tell me that the tenants not paying their rent and making open houses difficult was “the consequences and what we deserved for selling through another agent” (I find it amusing that he called me (a female) to say these things and not my partner (a male) that says a lot about him in my opinion)
When the tenants vacated at the end of the lease the house was left with walls painted in different colours, scratches through the flooring, not cleaned, oil on the driveway, lawns not mowed and gardens overgrown to which Robyn (the property manager) said was “fair and reasonable” (spoke to multiple other property managers and sent photos who said it was absolutely not fair and reasonable.) After a lot of back and forth they agreed to get a cleaner and I organised someone to mow the lawn which they paid.
We were left with the bill of fixing the walls and everything else that was left on an atrocious state.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! They are terrible at communication and happy to leave your property in a state that any other real estate would be embarrassed to hand to someone. They will also argue every issue with you and work in the tenants favor even though you’re the one who’s paying them to work for you.
