It was a wonderful gallery with interesting and informative and thoughtful exhibitions. The staff were lovely and knowledgeable. We did an eye spy game which helped us see more of the details of the art! Thank you

A peek at the Linda Jackson exhibition at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery proved a riotous exploration of colour, landscape inspiration and textiles. The exhibition was well hung and curated to show the link between nature and landscape, the paintings, and the resulting textiles. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Would happily return.

As with a comment from November last year about Gallery closure for change of exhibition, this year’s closure until 29 Nov for the same reason has also NOT been noted on the website. Visiting this museum was one of the highlights of visiting Bathurst from Terrigal - close to a 4 hour drive 😢 You really need to up your game and keep likely visitors informed on planned closures - it is not rocket science. Not happy.

It was a great regional art gallery in Bathurst. It was my first to visit in 2019 and what they had in exhibit were such impressive tapestries. BRAG is definitely one of those places you must visit when you are in Bathurst to get to know more about the place and its rich art tradition. It is pretty accessible and entrance is free of charge.

I always love to visit this gallery. When we went they were cataloging the artworks, so there wasn't so much to see. What was on display was thought provoking. Entry by donation and the gift shop seemed well priced

I hadn’t planned to go here but it was a nice discovery on google maps! Very nice exhibit too (Dobell Drawing Prize #23), introduced by a very enthusiastic girl that explained me what the ehi it was about and, after my tour, she gave me some tips about places and cities to visit!!
