The rabbit sanctuary is a peaceful haven filled with love and care. Volunteering here was rewarding—we groomed and fed the bunnies while enjoying the serene farm setting. Kim is an everyday hero who has dedicated countless hours and energy to serving at the rescue shelter. She has created a true utopia for rabbits, where each one is desexed, has its own vaccination passport, and receives the best possible care. We had the privilege of volunteering for two days and were so glad to contribute in any small way. The love and commitment Kim puts into her work are truly inspiring. This is also a wonderful reminder that adoption is always a better choice than buying pets. If you're considering having a rabbit, TRS is definitely worth your time!

Living in Qld I drove to volunteer at Kim's amazing rabbit adoption and rehoming. What a beautiful part of the world. All rabbits are desexed and microchipped and are looked after with so much love by Kim and the volunteers. I wish I could be a foster carer (in Qld) as these bunnies are just the cutest things. Thank you Kim for making me feel welcome. I had a wonderful time reconnecting to my young days in England where I had a rabbit. I hope to get back. Please donate/volunteer or adopt if you can, as Kim is a special person with a kind heart and the bunnies deserve the best life.

Kim has done and continues to do a wonderful job rescuing and caring for rabbits over the years. The sanctuary area is amazing and peaceful and the animals look very happy and safe. We volunteered for a few days and what a wonderful experience it was. We learned a lot from Kim and hope others are encouraged to come and offer practical help or donate to this great cause .

I cannot express how amazing the people are who all contribute towards helping The Rabbit Sanctuary rescue bunnies from all kinds of horrible situations and find new homes. There are so many people involved in doing so much work - I am part of some of the behind the scene stuff and it is none stop, people rallying together, to rescue and rehome an overwhelming amount of bunnies in need. I adopted my girl from TRS and was pleasantly surprised at the advice they gave me to ensure I found the perfect partner for my boy bun, and how they made sure I had exactly the right set up, had only the best food, and all the right education on how to care for them, and the ongoing support is phenomenal. They talk to hundreds of people about hundreds of bunnies every day, yet they make such a personal connection with every single one of their adopters, foster carers, runners and everyone else who they coke in to contact with. Whenever I have a question or have been upset when my girl got sick and didn’t know what to do, I had a team rallied around me to help me. I am truly in awe of what TRS does and the devotion they have. It is humbling and I wish I could do more to help! Our adopted girl is beautiful and it was the best decision made adopting from TRS! Kim's dedication and commitment to helping care for and rehome rabbits who (for whatever reason) are unable to be cared for by their owners anymore, is incredible. The sanctuary itself is fantastic and the rabbits are very well cared for. I recently boarded my two bunnies with Kim at the sanctuary and they were very happy there. I even adopted another rabbit there and Kim was very supportive throughout the process. Please consider adopting, donating or volunteering if you are able to. The sanctuary also sells hay which my (fussy) rabbits love - details are on the website.
