First and foremost, I wanted to say thank you for your woodworking. The new Willard Bed looks spectacular in our bedroom.

Second, thank you for delivering it in person and helping us set it up. Neither of us was expecting that level of customer service! So, I appreciate not only your detailed attention and care that you put into your woodworking craft but also your detailed attention and care to your customers.

Finally, I saw this week you posted a video of making the Willard Bed (from start to finish), and wanted to let you know this is a really nice touch. I watched your other videos about making nightstands and a dresser. And while I was wishing you had a video of the Willard Bed, seeing how you created the other items made it much easier to feel safe buying something from you online without seeing your woodworking in person. It also quickly distinguishes your woodworking site from other sites.

So, again, many thanks. We hope to have a chance to add other items from your studio over time (including cutting boards).

I recently purchased a walnut bed frame, headboard, and nightstand from this company, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and craftsmanship. The pieces are beautifully made, with the bed frame and headboard showcasing the natural beauty of the walnut wood. The nightstand is equally impressive, featuring soft-closing drawers that work perfectly.

The ordering process was smooth, and they were very accommodating when I requested adjustments to the headboard size. Communication was easy throughout, and I especially appreciated how they coordinated delivery around my busy travel schedule. The items were packaged securely, and the shipping company handled everything professionally, even delivering the furniture directly to my bedroom.

We ordered our bed from Kyle late 2020 and I've had some time to enjoy this beautiful piece before writing a review. I fell in love with the designs of Kyle's furniture and the care with which he crafts it. I had found many reviews for his work on Etsy and also spent a lot of time looking at photos on his Instagram and his website. His pieces are so unique and so beautiful, I knew I wanted to work with him to get a bed made for our first real home.

From start to end (and still today), it was an absolute dream to work with Kyle. He sent updates along the way as he created our bed and also went above and beyond finding products for the hardwax oil that didn't contain any soy to accomodate my severe allergy. I felt so confident about the quality and handling of materials Kyle used on our bed and was anxious to receive it. He clearly cares so much about delivering these pieces to his clients.

The bed arrived packed very carefully in a custom crate that shipped from Portland OR to Boston MA. The crate Kyle built to house the bed kept it safe and everything was very carefully held in place to ensure it wasn't damaged during transit. Kyle provided a sweet handwritten along with our bed shipment that included assembly instructions and his wish that we enjoy it. My husband and I put the bed together ourselves in about 40 min. Literally every single connection of the bed was perfect. It is SO secure, I can lean back against the headboard and fall into bed, and it's completely solid. The supports for the mattress keep our mattress in place and fits perfectly (Kyle customized the space between the mattress and bed for us of course 🙂

It's difficult to compare this piece of furniture to anything else we've purchased or seen in stores. It's not just a bed, it's honestly a piece of art. It's made with such incredible attention to detail and with such beautiful wood, I know it will be something we cherish forever. I'm so incredibly grateful for Kyle and am completely in love with our bed. If I could, I would buy so many more pieces from him. The price is a steal for a completely handmade bed and is constructed of incredibly high quality materials.

You should feel confident to work with Kyle; he is an amazing artist and craftsman and I'm so glad we have one of his pieces!

We contracted Kyle to build us a custom version of his Linden dining table in walnut. It was a wonderful 5 star experience. We have been dreaming of a custom table for over a decade and needed something that fit our space and unique needs. Kyle jumped right in and worked with us to design the perfect table - right down to hand picking the boards with the type of grain we loved. His designs are beautiful and his attention to detail is outstanding. The table is truly a work of art and function - we couldn’t be happier! Kyle really takes pride of ownership in his work. It was our absolute pleasure to work with him.

Kyle created something beyond what I envisioned. To complete my kitchen remodel I wanted to add a custom bar height countertop that would serve as a focal point and warm up the living space. Kyle presented me with several options and examples for the construction and also a few different wood species. Ultimately I leaned on his recommendation and decided to go with an end grain white oak countertop, with a natural finish. I'm so happy with how it turned out and also with the experience of working with Kyle throughout the process. I love how the white oak offered so much natural variation in color!

I am so thrilled with the bed and nightstand that Kyle made for us! He's not just a woodworker and wonderful furniture designer (mid-century modern styles), but is a true artist and it shows in his work. We decided to go with claro walnut (highly recommended upgrade, both because it's local and because it's a gorgeous wood) and he picked out some beautiful boards and built it so that there was a little thread of lighter color at the base of the bed and nightstand so that they looked like a cohesive set. Kyle has a unique system of small rounded half-slats of maple that sit in perfectly carved out nooks for his platform beds (look on his website to see what I mean). It is so elegant and you never even see it once the mattress is in. My contractor friend helped me pick up the bed and was so impressed by the Festool connectors that Kyle uses; he said they're very expensive but work exceptionally well. It is truly heirloom furniture using the highest quality materials. Also, Kyle is a really sweet person and a delight to work with! There was a delay due his getting injured but his communication is impeccable and he kept me updated until the end. Custom furniture is expensive but Kyle's work is really a great value for the quality. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Working with Kyle has been a great experience and we highly recommend him! We purchased two bedframes and three nightstands from Kyle, and love each piece. All pieces were made from white oak with a natural finish, and the beds are the Willard model. The amount of care put into the packaging was amazing. Unpacking and assembly were easy. The bed frames are solid, don’t wiggle at all, there hasn’t been a single squeak, and they are gorgeous. Our D’Auria furniture fits our house perfectly, and we recommend his craftsmanship to anyone.
