It's looks good but I found one fly into my sandwich and to the second sandwich I found a dirty hair. And they gave me a very dirty can of coke I asked to have a another clean. So I didn't eat one sandwich.

A delightfully small coffee shop, with some tables and chairs outside on the footpath, the indoor dining area includes a high bench and a number of wooden stools. Several ready made items in a display case to choose from. I opted for a small flat-white coffee, a spinach and cheese Burek, and a Madeleine cake. $14.50, great value. The service here was quite friendly.

I sat at one of the tables outside, within a minute the coffee and Madeleine were on the table, the Burek arrived a moment later. The coffee was hot, with plenty of flavour, and with the slightest hint of bitterness to remind one that it was in fact coffee. The Burek was warmed to perfection, and featured delicate flakey pastry, with delicious fillings. The Madeleine had also been warmed up, and tasted nice, with a light, fluffy texture. A very enjoyable light lunch.

In a quiet (for Sydney) leafy street.
Great coffee and reasonably priced sandwiches (rolls) of good quality.

Great value for money most or all of the food below $20, we had the dendu Breakfast and the ham and cheese omelette! Was great cheap delicious food! With 2 coffees our order came to less than $40!!

I stumbled across Café Dendu while looking for a cup of coffee while staying nearby. I ordered a large strong flat white to go and found my perfect Aussie cup- a great combo of flavor and size which also felt somewhat “American” to me and very satisfying- exactly the morning charge I needed for the start of the day. This became my go-to stop for a week’s stay. Plus the owners are kind and friendly and remembered me and my order after my first visit! Regards from Chicago.
