These pastries combine traditional Chinese flavours with modern decadence and each one is freshly made everyday with irresistible flavours like salted egg yolk, taro, black sesame, jujube dates, pork floss, red bean, lychee, chestnut, and more! 🤯🙌

Some were slightly too sweet for me, but overall, I’d say give them a go if you love pastries with Asian flavours! 👌

My favourites are: Jujube dates, black sesame, pumpkin salted egg yolk and pork floss bun! 😍

I’ve tried few Chinese pastry place across Chinatown and Burwood in the last few years and I have to say that Dragon pastry is the most authentic one from the texture of their “su” 酥 to the flavours of their fillings: fresh layered pastry, not too sweet fillings, variety of the flavours.

I especially love their savoury “ox tongue” (just the shape, it’s all vegetarian filling) and the taro salted egg.
Their Pumpkin salted egg and Taro square are very milky fragrant (like the top quality pineapple square I had it in Taiwan).
The date filling and chestnut filling pastry are so fresh, so as the walnut cookie (桃酥).

Their staff are always so friendly and welcoming.

Currently I’m on multiple visits per week and really keen to try all of their goodies and drinks 💯

Cute little shop. I love how it has very authentic and beautiful Chinese pastries. Some of them are a more modern contemporary style and flavours (I like the grape one).

If you like authentic and traditional Chinese pastries, please do yourself a favor come visit the store. Pastries are fresh, flaky and not too sweet. We have ordered a lot, the owner is very friendly and patient. Limited indoor seating but enough space to grab a quick bite if you’re craving for something sweet. It is located right in Chinatown.

Came here after the rave of how good the pastries this place offers and it didn’t disappoint. This shop stands out in the corner of Chinatown with its bright decor.

They have a wide variety of pastries displayed at the counter and I had hard time choosing which ones to try. In the end, I went for meat floss bun and sesame pastry.

Sesame pastry was rich in sesame flavor and it’s flaky. However I liked meat floss bun better as quite flavorful and I liked the texture better with meat floss.

Would love to come back for more of their pastries!
