This is the best bookshop in Australia! As a connoisseur, I speak as one who visits every bookshop in every town and I've been travelling for six years.

The most fantastic, personalised service. I was after a guidebook, couldn’t get it anywhere, Red Kangaroo books went out of their way to ensure I had the latest edition, ordered it and promptly posted it to me as soon as it came in.

As wide and contemporary collection as you would find in any bookstore from a larger city. Staff member was friendly and engaging, book purchase came with a bookmark. Books have handwritten price stickers, and a sticker bearing the name and logo of the book store. The bookmark and stickers are very nice touches that you don't find in many places anymore. Great little bookstore and don't miss the cafe on the way in - excellent coffee and cake. Beans are from Seven Seeds for you Melbourne coffee afficionados !
