Absolutely impressed by the Marine Harbour of Shute Harbour! The entire facility is clean, sleek, and beautifully designed with modern architecture that feels both welcoming and functional. Everything is well-organized and easy to access – from the smooth check-in terminals for ferry services to the conveniently located bus station and private parking, all just a short walk away.

Inside the terminal, there are thoughtful amenities such as free magazines, free fast WiFi, phone charging stations, and clean public toilets – all provided free of charge, which is a rare treat these days! There's also a cozy café inside the same building offering classic breakfast options, perfect if you're heading out early or waiting for your ferry.

One of the best parts? The stunning scenic view over the harbour – it’s a peaceful and beautiful spot that really sets the tone for a great day ahead. Whether you're traveling or just stopping by, this marine terminal truly stands out. Highly recommended!

It is just a terminal. Easy to get to. Easy to park. It was not operational when we got there due to the bad weather conditions.

It's a bit tricky to explain, but it's the stop just before Airlie when you're coming back from Hamilton, or just after Airlie if you're heading out. It’s really convenient since it’s the first stop! The boat comes and goes pretty quickly, and you can scan a QR code just before you board. Plus, there are clean bathrooms, plenty of space, and affordable overnight parking available. Enjoy your trip!

Excellent spot for fishing the catch quite a good variety of large and small fish around here, the water is such an amazing colour you can also go on the glass bottom boat from this terminal.

A small cafe very empty, would be nice to be able to have a wine and snacks whilst there, i guess its just for departing and arrivals but could be done up a little.
We caught a bus there from airlie to have a look it was beautiful but nothing there really. Just beautiful water and big beautiful ferry craft.
