An absolutely top shop..John and Allan, the two guys who run it, totally understand the needs and wants of fibre fanatics like myself. They recently bent over backwards to help me get a parcel they sent me, back from a postal centre, when the Australia Post courier service failed to leave it at my doorstep. They did this because they were genuinely concerned that I would have to pay any extra postage due to the incompetence of A.P.
They are terrific at communicating over the phone, and provide a matching up service. This means you can post in a sample and they DO have records going back forever, so they will be able to copy a previous batch for you. Like I said, they can't do enough to help. They are a real example of how a fair dinkum Australian business should look.
Their prices are low, their product is so beautiful and soft, I cannot recommend First Edition Fibres and Yarns highly enough!
