I purchased the "Mother Burd" website package from Samir Malik, which advertised unlimited customization. Prior to payment, I was assured the site would be tailored to my preferences. After payment, I provided a clear outline of simple features, but was then told further payment was required—despite the package promise.

When I referred back to the original agreement, the tone of communication shifted. The interaction became unprofessional, and my feedback was dismissed rather than addressed constructively.

A basic version of the site was delivered, but it was not functional or well-executed. I requested improvements, but these were declined. Of the $4,389 paid (in three milestones: $2,000 for copywriting, $1,000 for design, and $990 to make the site live), $2,389 was refunded. However, the remaining $1,990 was kept, even though the website was never completed or made live.

Additionally, I was not provided with login access to the work completed, and was later told it had been repurposed for another client. This left me with no usable product, and I had to rebuild the project from scratch with a new developer, resulting in extra financial strain.

There were also concerns around billing clarity and communication. At one point, I was asked to agree not to leave a negative review in exchange for a partial refund, which made me uncomfortable.
