WARNING - AVOID Citric Digital / Bayside Technology Group – A Costly Lesson I Don’t Want Others to Learn the Hard Way. All of his reviews are fake.

I usually don’t leave public reviews—but what happened to me deserves to be seen by every business owner, freelancer, and startup trying to grow.

In April 2025, I hired a digital marketer named Tim through Airtasker for a $200 task. Instead of completing the work, he convinced me to take the job “off-platform” so he could avoid Airtasker fees—something I now deeply regret.

From there, it spiraled.

He sold me a $1,000/month digital marketing package—promising to handle everything: Facebook & Instagram setup, ad campaigns, SEO, photo editing, and Google Ads. He then charged me an extra $750 for Google Ads setup through a so-called “specialist” named Angela—who, by the way, never contacted me despite two weeks of promises and excuses.

What did I get in return?
• No progress on any meaningful work
• Endless excuses, vague responses, and zero transparency
• GST added on top of fees I wasn’t even told about
• A $1,936 charge for services I never approved or received
• A portal full of buzzwords, fake tickets, and auto-emails to create the illusion of activity
• Weeks of wasted time, unanswered questions, and broken promises

This isn’t just about bad service. It’s about intentional manipulation. Tim hides behind slick language, fancy email templates, and misleading contracts. He plays psychological games—avoiding direct answers, delaying refunds, and hoping you give up out of frustration.

But I won’t.

I’ve since discovered that his business ABN was previously cancelled and re-registered under a new number, raising serious concerns. He uses two identities—Citric Digital and Bayside Technology Group—and switches between them when it suits him. His reviews are cherry-picked, his testimonials questionable, and his ethics nonexistent.

Let me be crystal clear:
Do not trust this man or this business.
If it happened to me, it will happen to you.

I’m currently pursuing legal action, reporting him to Consumer Affairs, Scamwatch, and VCAT, and exposing everything publicly—because businesses like this need to be held accountable. This is not about revenge. It’s about protecting others from being deceived by someone who knows exactly how to twist words, delay action, and profit off your trust.

Tim, if you’re reading this—know this time, you picked the wrong person.

To anyone else: If you’re looking for honesty, results, and integrity, look elsewhere.
