THIS RESTAURANT IS AMAZING!!!
Honestly one of my favourite places to go!
The saganaki is to die for as well as the souvla of the day. I haven’t had a bad experience here and I’ve been here a few times.
The staff are so friendly and recommend you with amazing food and drinks.
The cocktails are absolutely amazing.
I recommend this to anyone going to shoal bay!

Great interior design that really gives the impression of being in Greece. Friendly staff who are attentive for the entire visit. Quality food that is reasonably priced. Overall a lovely evening and will definitely be back again! Definitely worth visiting!

We were lucky enough to dine at Atmos not once, but twice—and both nights were nothing short of phenomenal. Quite honestly, this was the best meal we've had out. The food was exceptional, every dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.
We feasted on the melt-in-your-mouth lamb shoulder, the chicken souvla of the day, juicy lamb tomahawk cutlets, exquisitely grilled WA octopus, and perfectly charred broccolini with heavenly roasted potatoes. Every plate was a standout—so good, we couldn’t resist coming back for round two!
On our first night, we sat at the bar and were treated to great entertainment and warm banter from the bartenders Olivia and I didn’t get to catch the other bartenders name. But they were incredibly friendly, constantly checking in to see how we were enjoying everything—especially the cocktails—and made us feel right at home. Their energy added a fantastic touch to our experience and set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
Over the course of two nights, we tried every cocktail on the menu (yes, every one!) and each drink was just as impressive as the food. From start to finish, we were welcomed with warm smiles and outstanding customer service. Daniel in particular made our experience unforgettable—his thoughtful recommendations and genuine hospitality truly elevated the evening.
Atmos isn’t just a meal—it’s a celebration of Greek cuisine wrapped in incredible service. If you’re looking for a place where everything feels just right, this is it.

Food and service quality have definitely gone downhill. Third time here and would not return.
The waiter was not too happy when we requested entrees and mains to come out at the same time, which was never a problem in the past. They did not arrive at the same time. The steak had a hair in it, mentioned it to the waiter, he was not too concerned or fussed. Loukumades here use to be amazing, now they’re completely dry. Atmosphere and decor were amazing as usual. Calamari was really nice.

We had such a wonderful dining experience at Atmos in Shoal Bay! Our waiter, Benjamin, was an absolute delight — friendly, knowledgeable, and made some brilliant wine recommendations that perfectly complemented our meal. The food itself was incredible; as a Greek myself, I can say it tasted wonderfully authentic, full of rich flavours that reminded me of home. Atmos is a must-visit if you’re in Shoal Bay — a perfect blend of warm service, delicious food, and stunning surroundings.

We went to Atmos having seen it online and been recommended by friends as a great place for dinner in Nelson Bay.

We were served by Daniel, who gave us excellent service and recommendations throughout. He was able to do me an off menu cocktail and his recommendations didn’t disappoint. You NEED to get the lamb shoulder, cauliflower salad and ask for Nutella with your donuts.

The interior is gorgeous too and perfect for a date or big group. We will definitely be recommending going forwards.
