Tossable Digits has Great customer service! Granted I just signed up and my service won't begin for a week. So I can't post a review about the workings of the virtual number etc. However, the assistance I've received getting setup and the many questions about the product have been awesome! I have confidence all will go well once I'm ported out and receive my virtual number.

I have been using Tossable Digits for about a year now while being stationed in the UK and it has been great! I get calls or messages forwarded to my new UK number seamlessly. Definitely recommend, especially with the cheap price of the Pay-As-You-Go plan

Do not sign up for this if you are travelling abroad and looking to keep your home number for bank verifications, etc. It doesn't work. Most places recognize that it is a virtual number and block it. You end up paying for a service that does not work.

Additionally, if you sign up in advance and schedule your port for later on, like they mention one of the "perks" are, they start charging you based on the day you signed up, not the day of the port so again you are paying for literally nothing depending on how early you schedule your port. Then they autorenew and charge you every 30 days. I looked around and read a lot of the information on this site before signing up and was told that this information is all written on the site. But if I did not easily find this in my original search, how transparent are these nuances really?

Anyways I will be cancelling as it has provided nothing to me except holding my number for me, which I could have done for free with my previous phone provider in Canada.

Surviving Europe

I cannot say enough positive things about Tossable Digits. Initially, I found out about them when I was moving abroad temporarily and did not want to lose the cell phone number while I was overseas. To reserve it with Verizon was extremely expensive, and Tossable Digits offered a much more affordable option.

Their customer service team walked me through every step of the way - it couldn't have been easier. After I ported my number, I realized how many features I could use with a monthly plan. Since then, I have been running my business effectively overseas and have been easily reachable by friends and family back home.

I recently had difficulty porting my number from Tossable to another carrier. It was entirely the other carrier’s fault (Visible), but they kept blaming Tossable. It was Tossable who helped figure out what Visible had done wrong so they could fix it. This is what I wrote Tossable afterwards: “I just wanted to let you know that everything has finally been resolved with Visible and my number has been successfully ported out of Tossable. But more than that, I wanted to let you know that PJ was a lifesaver. PJ was the only person who took my request seriously and took the time to really look into what was going wrong. I related to Visible what PJ explained was the cause of the problem, and I suspect that was what finally got Visible to accept responsibility for the hold up and fix it. I kept getting brush-off’s from Visible, telling me it was Tossable’s error, even from a phone appointment with one of Visible’s second level support personnel. PJ is the person responsible for making this port a success.

And overall, my husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the Tossable service while we were overseas. It worked perfectly to get emails every time a phone call or text was received on our US numbers, and the service was ridiculously inexpensive for what we received. You preserved our numbers for us so that when we returned to the US, we could reactivate them, but also provided us a great service in being able to receive authentication codes, etc. when we had to manage business online from overseas. What an awesome service! Thank you to your whole team, especially PJ, and we hope your business becomes a huge success. You deserve it.”

Tossable digits has been great for keeping a U.S. number while living in Spain. Call forwarding always works super well and rates seem very affordable. Customer service has also always been exceptional and they handle number porting requests very quickly. Definitely recommend them for online phone services!
