The new supervisor and the new staff they have hired at this lab are extremely unprofessional and can’t take any accountability for their machines or the archival handling of film negatives.

My entire roll is scratched entirely, and I get told it’s my camera's back plate. Yet, I process my B&W, not even to have any scratches at all compared to the amount of scratches on my colour roll that was used on the same night.

I’ve been using these guys for over a year, never any issues until two of their employees left. The quality and professionalism have been lost within nearly a month.

The supervisor "Danial" is a complete smart ass who doesn’t hold accountability to then say oh it’s not our machines it’s your camera, oh your photos are super underexposed do you rely on your meter? He says things that have nothing to do with my scratched film roll to stay off topic. I showed a photo that was recently processed and scanned by the lab that had happened to my friend who had a full-blown scratch on one frame, to get told “oh it happens”, it does not! This is subject to either poor handling or the machines.

Not bothering with this lab anymore.

Daniel's way of speaking to me was extremely belittling and egotistical, I am more than well aware of using my camera and for somone to assume that i'm some newbie is extremely unprofessional, I am more than well aware of shooting gigs with many under my belt to know how to expose using manual settings and sometimes relying on a meter depending on bigger venues with extremely brighter lighting conditions.

I do not wish to speak to you further as i had said once i am done with using your business after that day as said to not borther anymore due to zero accountability and the way Daniel spoke to me was enough for me to leave, where i see three lines on my colour roll that looks like processors rollers had scratched it and has nothing to do with my cameras back plate or anything as I had recently moved onto developing my own colour film at home and funny enough ZERO scratches at all on the film, same for the two recent rolls of B&W i had self developed at home shows that its a processor issue, I prefer to not deal with more excuses as i have found evidence from self processing film at home compared to your machines that had processed my pushed colour film.

I had mentioned that b&w film had zero scratches thats the B&W film, that i had "SELF processed" I have no idea about two rolls? only a colour film roll, even a few people who have used your lab as of recently have experienced harsh scratches from either machines or poor handling of film negatives, this is very unprofessional to say you have many years of experience does not mean this accounts for staff or any sort of handling but this feels like an egotistical comment to state the years of experience other than saying yes we shall check this out and make sure to hold accountability to reimburse you a new roll of film or to say we will make sure to look thoroughly at the machines to ensure this issue is minimised which could've gone that way but due to this extremely poor experience i am not happy.

I am now letting this end here as i had said, i have no further interest in speaking any further nor wish to use this business again after this incident with certain staff and the unprofessionalism that had occurred.

Addendum: Just realize you can upload photos using smartphone from the website. Makes it a lot easier now to print my family photos. Well done for updating this.
