Typically I do my homework on a shop before I take my car there, but today, unfortunately, I did not, being I was pressed for time. So, I call D&D around 9:45 AM to ask how long will an inspection take if I brought my vehicle in within 20 minutes, the man on the phone said it would take about an hour. I arrive around 10:00 AM and speak with a mechanic who says it will actually take a couple of hours, to which I reply “ok, so around noon?” He nods his head and says “yup.” I leave my car there and head home. I call the shop around 12:45 PM to check the status and the man I spoke with said “it’s going to take about another 30 minutes” and I said “ok, I’ll be there at 1:15 PM. I have to leave for work at that time.” His reply was a suspicious “ok.” I show up at 1:20 PM and the mechanic hands me my keys and says “I couldn’t get to it. Come by another time during the week when you have more time.” The unsightly, incompetent wastrel that I dealt with was Armando. If you value your time, please go elsewhere. If you own this establishment and you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and hire a new shop manager.
