Eggs in toast with a side of bacon. The eggs were great, the thing on the plate playing the part of the bacon was appalling. I think they deep fried it, but regardless it was inedible. I tried a piece and it was just horrid. Such a shame, I had high hopes.

Coffee was great, such a pity I ordered “bacon”.

I travel extensively all over Australia for work and finding a good, reliable breakfast spot is not as easy as you might think. This cafe, and the Hotel it is a part of, have left a very positive memory of good food and service well above the normal expectations of regional NSW. It may be open earlier than stated, which is good. Cozy atmosphere with great views out the big bay window to the park. Excellent coffee and food. Having the day's paper there to read is often overlooked by cafes but a pleasant surprise. The cafe is part of the George Hotel. Both have received good reviews from me as they are both above average.

In town for the Bathurst 500 & stumbled across Drake and Duff on the Friday and enjoyed their Breakfast and great Coffee over the next 4 days.
Highly recommend, in particular the Piccolos latte.
