Was here on Monday afternoon and what a treat of book shop! As a visitor, had to really restrain myself from buying the entire range!

The place is filled with books, I was quite interested in the children’s section for my two kids and there were some really lovely finds. One I think was a book that wouldn’t be commonly stocked, the other two books were standard, Aussie children‘s picture book classics.

Went through the store with both our kids, in strollers, there was plenty of room. I’ve not much experience with wheelchairs but I am quite sure they could move around the store comfortably.

A visit here is a must for book lovers passing through Bathurst. Purchase something for yourself or as a gift - it’s always a good thing to support an independent bookstore!

So unreal to still have a book shop in town. They are so helpful and if they don't have it they will always order it in. Thanks to you all for always making shopping there such a joy. You can't get that new book smell as you walk through the door online.

There’s a reason this bookshop has been open for over a decade (how long I’ve been frequenting it). The people go work there are always friendly, professional and always able to help recommend just the book you are after, and if they don’t have it can track it down. They also stock a brilliant array of cards for every occasion.

It is rare to find a bookshop in Australia that is so delightful and variously well stocked. I grew up in Bathurst, return often and am proud to call this family run haven "my original local."

I especially enjoy the diverse range of local, national and international history, foreign affairs and travel literature.
