I got started painting on aluminum panels after my fellowship to the Yale Norfolk program in 1990. I’ve used aluminum panels I found in St. Etienne France, and sheets of aluminum I’ve had to glue together onto Styrofoam backing with varying degrees of success. The product I now use from GSG is the best most stable material I’ve worked with. Their service is great, the prices are very reasonable and I’m really grateful that I was able to find them. Stop painting on canvas and instead paint on the aluminum panels. You’ll never look back.

Monty Bartel is awesome and really went above and beyond to help us out of a bad situation when we couldn't get any support from the equipment manufacturer. Truly lived up to the name Graphic SOLUTIONS Group. I will continue to order from GSG and will keep pushing the company to transition to ordering everything we can from them.

I do not recommend. Their website is awful and extremely hard to navigate. Since moving their location across town they have went even farther downhill. You’ll order something that very clearly says it’s in stock. Then you are “supposed” to wait a minimum of 60 minutes to pick up your order. I always give it 2 hours. You get there after driving 45 minutes one way and the guy at the will call counter says it’s not in stock. But “there’s some coming on the truck….”
If I wanted to wait on the truck I would have just ordered from Sign Warehouse. Hate it when I have to do business with these folks.

Update, OCT 4th, 2023. Literally sitting at their will call counter waiting for them to “pull” my order that I placed 3 hours ago. This guy David that runs the will call counter is worthless. The customer in front of me just got screwed over like I usually do. Website said it was in stock. He gets here and gets the “there’s 1 in Dallas” line. Then counter jockey offers to ship it overnight on the customer’s dime. When CLEARLY GSG is the one that screwed up. Good God I hate it when I have one of those “need it today” jobs and have to come here. Since Amy left and they moved from 240 and eastern place went to hell.

First, the website isn't easy to search and use. But the primary reason for the rating is they don't provide you shipping costs at checkout, they attach them later and you have to look for them. They tell you it's because they don't know which warehouse it's coming from, however, we got 2 boxes from 2 different warehouses (around 8x8 and 8x10 with spools of thread) and it was $37 (not expedited). That's ridiculous. We order huge boxes of blank shirts and hats and shipping is cheaper than that. There are plenty of other companies who aren't trying to gouge small business customers. We will use them in emergency situations only from now on.

Did the Basic class today and learned quite a few things I hadn't known in my 4 months of printing. It was a great experience! Mark and Steve were very knowledgeable and willing to share it with us. Highly recommend this class for everyone to try!

Steve stops by our shop from time to time and I always appreciate it. Steve is very knowledgable and has helped us improve our prints. Even if he doesn’t sell anything he’ll still take a few minutes to show us some tips if we ask. Some of the other supplies company reps that stop by and try to sell us supplies barely even know what their own ink cures at...that’s a big difference in my opinion.
