Chris Martini has provided a cost effective way of both accumulating and collating facebook and google reviews but also has given us an excellent methodology for enticing our clients and customers to write reviews.
Consistency in message and method have allowed us to accumulate 68 google reviews and 33 facebook reviews.
Initially, and before Chris joined our BNI group, we were using another company that offered the world but once we signed up totally left us to our own devices. We were spending many minutes a day inviting our clients to leave us a review. The process, then, was to email, sms or both our clients, and we did so every evening after the patients left the practice. After hundreds of requests were sent, we discovered a 1-2 percent response.
For this pleasure, we were spending several hundreds of dollars every month, to collate and accumulate reviews. The numbers of reviews received were almost negligible.
A 1-2-1 was had with Chris when he joined BNI, and the same services were possible to be had from Trellian for about a third the cost. Chris promised service and back up.
Guess what, Chris provided service. The service has continued and Chris answers the phone, our emails or even calls in and proceeds to help, without question.
There are many small tricks to obtain the reviews, but Chris's best piece of advice was to wait for a positive appointment and then on the way out from the appointment when the patient is very happy, ask for a favour. Simply ask for a review and then follow this up with a sms or email that has a link to the leaving that review. Easy. Most times, the patient feels they are repaying the efforts made by our practice, and they happily leave a review.
Many other dental practices offer some sort monetary or discount for patients to leave a review. In my opinion this is disingenuous.
The King of reviews to obtain in my opinion are google reviews. Fortunately, these are the reviews that patients want to leave.and most importantly, want to read.
These reviews have time and time again led to further appointments from new patients as true to Chris's advice, google reviews are the modern day equivalent to word-of-mouth. Any service business would be crazy not to use Trellian and Chris to obtain and manage their google reviews.
