I did my whole CPL and bankstown flying school and I couldnt recommend it further.

It is a great school with great archers to learn on that are probably the best powered planes in sydney. One of the most crucial advantages this school has is that the administrational staff know exactly what they are doing which is one of the most crucial components of a good flying school. When a flying school just employs Instructors to do administrational, marketing and accounting it is often done poorly and will hold up your flight training. The booking software was built in house and is far superior to flight logger or any other similar software. It is important to have staff that explicitly deal with bookings as the alternative means that you often phone a school and get no answer on the other end.

I started flying at Bankstown flying school and completed my private pilots licence. The instructors there are amazing and are very easily able to articulate their knowledge and teach the course content. They are so helpful and very understanding whilst doing the practical side of the course. I feel very safe and I would highly recommend them.

They are also very flexible with my work schedule and work around me when I only have certain days I can fly. Best flying school in Sydney by far

Having undertaken flight training at multiple flight schools in different states, BFS provided me with the most practical, tailored and professional training by far.

I wish to commend all the staff at BFS, from administrative to flight instructors to senior management, for always going above and beyond to help me achieve my goals.

This is the only flight school I have been to that understand not everyone learns the same way, and that different student learns at different paces. You will never be victimised at BFS if you take longer to grasp certain concepts, all the instructors here are very patient and down-to-earth.

They have also been extremely helpful and accommodating with booking and scheduling, as I work in law enforcement and sometimes have challenging availability, compounded by the adverse weather events in the months leading up to my CPL flight test.

When you walk through the door at BFS, there are no arrogant, egocentric, hour-building hungry instructors wearing gold epaulettes looking down on you and expecting you to stroke their ego unlike at other sausage factories. At BFS, there is only professional staff who genuinely want to understand your needs, and to help you successfully achieve your flying goals in the most efficient and cost-effective means possible.

In terms of pricing, BFS is not the cheapest flight school around, and they do not aim to be the cheapest, because both their quality of training and quality of aircraft is second to none. This is a flight school that offered me the best value for my money. A great business model all around.

I am certainly looking forward to undertaking further training here at BFS.

I coverted from RPL to PPL at BFS. I have had the pleasure of learning under two amazing instructors - Luke and Sam. I am now progressing towards my PIFR with them.
