Probably the most disappointing interview experience I've had. I made an appointment for a video call interview via zoom. I was given the confirmation link 2 hours before the scheduled time. I joined 5min prior to the commencement, and waited for 20min without any contact. I messaged and called the interviewer Diana. But there was never any reply, and it was days ago. Very poor handling of the interview process. I never heard back. Maybe that's a good thing - I wouldn't want to work for a place that handles their recruitment process so unprofessionally.

I worked here for 3 days in jan before I quit because in the interviewing process the job was made sound to be very easy but there’s no guaranteed pay and the way you make money with this company is going out to people asking them to donate to a charity. It’s poorly managed by the crew leaders if I recall that’s what they are called. In the first day noticed so many red flags like they had so many people keep coming in for interviews on both the days but apparently that’s normal there not to mention I was not paid fully. Look I was really thinking about leaving this to what it was but people should know what they’re getting into. On the first day & second partly I had to use someone else’s login to secure the donations I had made and that’s probably why I wasn’t paid more than half of what should’ve been because the “team leader “ didn’t put my donations down as mine but his. I messaged Diana about not being paid properly and never ended up hearing back from her. By far worst job I have had no shade to anyone but honestly stop advertising this job as something desirable when it makes u seem desperate begging on the streets of Penrith (that’s how far they expect us to go each day) just for some donations from other people that are suffering from the cost of living crisis. I simply don’t want anyone to be ignorantly fooled.

I don’t want anyone trying to contact me back from this review to have it taken down or to “talk” unless it’s to pay me what they actually should have. I know I’m not lying ciao

WHAT A SCAM!!!!!!!! friend worked here for a few months - nature of the work is so hard and demanding. Would leave the house before 7 and arrive home after 8pm - apparently these long hours were “expected”! Learnt about the business model and realised that majority of the “donations” would go to the business and commission to the employee - LESS THAN HALF TO THE ACTUAL CHARITY!!!! WHAT A JOKE!!! My friend finally came around to quitting as after the first two months, it was all commission based, meaning no salary or regular pay coming in. After she handed in her notice, they went on to pay her 1/10th of what she was owed - this is over $1500 that they are keeping for themself - Probably to treat themselves. Absolutely disgusting that businesses like this are able to exist!!

The smiles and handshakes are all good for the most part, but be prepared to work.

I was let go after 6 days because I didn't make their $1400 ticket sales quota in my first week. After all the inspiring wall hangings, stories, and words, it made me feel better with my lack of ticket sales experience, but they weren't willing to let me build up my experience, unfortunately.

*2024 update
I'm currently in the process of changing careers. Pulling the knowledge I've gained from this job will be very handy, and I'm glad for the time I spent there.

Be Interactive helped me realize I'm more than a ticket seller, and for that, I have to shake my head and smile at the life lesson I've been taught. Maybe I taught you something, too?
