The Birdcage Marketing team is like no other!! I am currently a student in their school and a Client for a Web Design Project and I thank my lucky stars that Maddy came across my social media feed 8 months ago. Not only have I learnt an insane amount of information on marketing for my business WITH actionable steps that make marketing seem easy, through the school. You know that saying "make it make sense"? They've made it make sense!!

They have also just finished building my website and all I can say is WOW. The communication for the last couple of months to get my website done has been top tier, the professionalism is incredible and I could not have picked a better team to build my website. I was a complete newbie when it came to websites. I went with Birdcage because of a pleasant sales process. They seemed to be more personal and hands on. One of the main factors in going with them was rolling the website into paid ads, which they advertised 5:1 or even 20:1 ROAS for a client. Great! I usually like beautiful websites, but I opted to go with something more standard looking in exchange for a ROI machine. They're the experts right? When the website was delivered, the company told me they no longer are doing paid ads. So I was delivered a mediocre looking website and now no ads. I since learned the website is worse than I thought. I won't say how much I paid for the website, but it was 10x the cost of my last website. They used the Divi building and a child theme. The website load speed is slow. My developer friend, couldn't believe what I paid versus what I got. Birdcage builds average looking website, which is fine. I knew that going on. I assumed I was exchanging a sleek design for an optimized website. I guess mine is so sub-optimal that a member from my community sent me a brand new website home page for free because he was so disappointed with my new website. Thing is, his website was a clear winner. Clearly better, more user-friendly. Unfortunately, I can't use his because it was built on Squarespace and I'm using WordPress. Nevertheless, I'm in the process of tearing down the entire website and rebuilding it. In the end, I'm upset, mostly at myself. I spent way too much time vetting developers to choose a bad one.

Booked a planning call a week in advance to have an email on the exact time of the call stating the owner is running 15 minutes behind.
That’s fine, I can wait as this sometimes happens,
Then get another email stating “I saw you had a call booked with Maddy but we didn't see you on the Zoom; again apologies for running behind.
Would you like to reschedule another time to chat”

As a business owner, I plan a week - weeks in advance and don’t want to wait weeks till I have time free to have this conversation.

If you “didn’t see me on the zoom” I don’t have faith in this business to run my marketing. Such a let down and extremely disappointed.

Why did I not find Birdcage sooner!! Now that Birdcage is taking care of all of our social media marketing for us, it has allowed me to spend time in other areas of my business. We are already seeing fantastic results and I honestly just wish I engaged with the company when I first started!!
