Had an appointment scheduled last week for starlink installation, appointment was scheduled for 8:30 and by 8:45 no one had showed up, called the office and was very casually told the technician was on call which they didn’t realise at the time of scheduling the appointment. No apology was given, when my partner asked why the didn’t call the reschedule, they ignored the question and asked if we would like to reschedule for the following week. We booked the appointment for today at 8:30 again, by 8:35 my partner called to ensure they’re still coming, because we weren’t confident they would notify us if they weren’t, and he was told that the technician had to run by the workshop to collect a few things and then he will be around shortly. At 9:20 we called to follow up again as no one had arrived or made further contact with us to apologise for any delays or update us on an ETA. My partners frustration was once again shrugged off casually by the lady on the phone and he was told the technician will be leaving the shop shortly. My partner told them to cancel the job as he had to get back to work (supposed to start at 9:00 hence the 8:30 appointment start) and was then left hanging on the phone in silence, after a few “hello’s” a man picked up the phone saying he would be there soon, my partner again said to cancel the appointment. The man asked if he was sure and my partner insisted yes and told them they had wasted our time on 2 occasions and that we no longer wish to do business with them. The man confidently responded with a bit of a laugh and “goodluck finding someone else to do it mate”. Well luckily for us there are 2 other technicians who I have been able to contact within the time we spent waiting on Capricorn Communications, and we are confident their services would be more efficient and professional based of off recommendations and reviews (not that the standard set by Capricorn communications is hard to beat after this). They were also able to provide efficient quotes over the phone, unlike Capricorn communications where we had to follow up numerous tomes to finally get a quote and arrange an appointment. Sounds like you guys should be knocked down a few perches because you are awfully cocky for a business that provides below standard customer service.

Phoned to get quote on replacing phone line at home, tech came out and had a look, told would phone back with quote, never got a call back, I rang 3 times finally got an email with quote and times available. I answered email with my availability but no answer back. Can only only assume that they don’t want any work.
