Nice long sandy beach with small waves and few people. Good for relaxing, fishing or taking the kids to play. However, as an unpatrolled beach you need to have due regard for the conditions and your swimming ability. It is also subject to influxes of seaweed.

Great beach to take your dog for a walk. Long enough to let them off the leash for a good run. However, given this is a dog friendly beach, I'd recommend not swimming. While most people are good about picking up their dogs business, some invariably aren’t.

This is a fairly large car parking area right on the beach with new toilets and a fabulous playground. We stay here overnight when passing through the area and usually park up on the grass to be out-of-the way. Very quiet at night.

Only rating the beach as a 3 star because we read reviews saying it was good for basking and swimming and drove a way to visit. Unfortunately I wasn't tempted to go in, and it wasn't the cleanest sand either...
