My engagement with Alex (and Creative Since) came as a result of a Google search. I could not be happier with the outcomes, and the prospect of future work with Alex.

A bit of a back-story .... I have had a creative project in mind for roughly 3 years, which utilises my photography and is aimed at amateur and community sporting clubs (I'm being a bit coy right now).

The first designer helped to build a concept, but that was it. She wanted to quit design (she's now an air hostess!).

The previous designer took that concept to the next level, but overlooked several key elements and went rogue (template supplied in wrong app, communications responses erratic or none at all), and generally missed the brief. This cost me 12-18 months, much of that seemingly chasing my tail.

After a quick Google search (we have relocated to the NSW north coast), it was clear that Alex (Creative Since 1988) was on same page from our first discussion. He saw the value of my project, understood my market, and was able to recommend additions to the content, as well as the overall deliverable product.

One moment stood out the most - Alex made a recommendation for an inclusion that I was very keen on, but a previous designer had rejected (largely due to workload). Alex's recommendation was unprompted, which told me his mind was in the right place, when 2 other designers had missed the mark.

Over the next 3-4 weeks Alex and I worked together to produce a draft, and then refining the end product to a point where I could start printing samples. Finally after several years I had a physical version of my product in my hands, and it only took a few weeks.

Collaborating with Alex has been incredibly easy - he's very patient and explains things in a very matter-of-fact way, with no hidden surprises. He managed my expectations very well, making new recommendations along the way, and keeping a lid on my future plans (all in good time ...).

Alex makes a point of returning, calls, texts and e-mails, and the communication never broke down throughout the process. Nothing was introduced without first checking, and examples and updates were regular.

The project is currently on hiatus (as is the rest of the world), but I have every intention of coming back for future versions of my product.

Alex was awesome from start to finish. CS83 did the wireframes - the process of getting the copy/site layout etc done using website wireframes /prototypes, whilst doing a logo refresh and a logo style guide. They then created a new website design with the new branding before building the website itself! He even threw in a SquareSpace training session.
