Tried the crackling pork Banh mi. At $14.50, it's the most expensive banh mi that I've ever had. Service was average. The bread was warm and crusty. Decent amount of meat and the salad was fresh. The meat was a good ratio of juicy meat and fat, but there was an overpowering spice taste, perhaps too much five spice. Most of the crackling was good, about 20% was hard/chewy and could not eat. There are many options at Ed Square for decent food, but only here if you're craving banh mi. It's a good banh mi, but at $14.50, it falls below expectations.

After seeing the FB posts I decided to try this place. I wasn't disappointed with the pork belly bahn mi apart from being a bit on the salty side but the flavours were magnificent. Even though it was a bit of a mission for me to get there from Penrith area, I would definitely recommend a visit to this place and the staff were very friendly. I found it a bit hard to find, it's opposite Loan Star restaurant near Coles in the shopping centre.

I ordered the crispy pork belly roll. I got two pieces of crackling. The guy seems more generous when making the rolls, but the girl doesn't care or have a clue.

I also bought a stale sourdough. It wasn't just day old, but more like a week old. The bread felt like cardboard. I also waited 20 minutes for my order.

My husband and I ordered x2 pork crackling banh mi via door dash. This banh mi was absolutely a waste of time and money. Below are photos of the banh mi just filled with carrots... idk but I didnt order extra carrot. Whoever prepared this needs to be trained about ratios. The meat had to be taken out of our mouths since it was sooo hard and burnt that we had to push aside to the plate, it was not edible at all. There was ZERO crispy pieces which you guys have been boasting soo much about on Instagram. The pork was NOTHING like the girls talk about, it was not juicy, not seasoned well, and definitely no crackling. The ratio of the meat was also very off, I have bought a few times from here, and have been served TRIPLE the amount of meat I was given today. Photos also attached of meat. The pork itself was just seasoned with what seemed like the ocean. It was sooo salty that it made our mouths curl, surely this is some sort of joke. I would be embarrassed to serve this let alone SELL this.

I would like my money back, I am not satisfied with my order quality and I urge the management to get in contact with me to arrange this refund.

Food and drink were nice
Personally, I think the crackling pork could be more crackling.

If you really like sweet, biscoff chiller is good option. It was quite sweet for me.

Note:
If you decided to eat in, patience is key as the tables are not cleaned in timely manner imo.

Hello Fellow Pie Connoisseurs, this is my first pie review.

Having recently travelled to New Zealand,
I was blown away by how absolutely tasty their pies are over there and have been on the hunt to find something in Australia that matches that calibre.

Elijah’s Artisan Breadhouse is a top contender.

I had the steak, cheese & bacon pie. It had a flaky crusty top with poppy seeds, solid base and the inside was filled with decent chucks of meat with tasty gravy, cheese & bacon surrounding it all. Pie cost $6.95 and I’m happy to pay for quality. I give this a solid 10 out of 10.

Quality roll. They toasted the buns a little in the quick oven for a crusty outside. I like it. Generous filling but at $10.50 I'd have liked more of a pork vibe (was chopped to roughly for my liking). Great flavours though.

Got the pork belly crackling banh mi. Tasted pretty good actually. Nicely flavoured meat and pickled veg. A tad on the exy side at $13, (especially considering the bread roll was extremely small. In Cabra, at quite a few places, you can get 2 pork crackling banh mi for $14 and the bread roll is way larger). I would say this one was around 15cm? Shop was nice and clean and customer service was great.
