Australia Day Long Weekend - great property for Dragon Boat Regatta, easy access to and from the property. Great accommodation for groups. Clean rooms and facilities and great small kitchen in rooms. Reception staff are friendly and efficient.

This is not fancy accommodation, but that is its charm. It has everything you need and little you don't, and for a nice price. It's well located near the road - the perfect base for road riding or mountain biking. The pool, spa, and sauna are perfect for easing tired legs post-ride.

I phoned reception at nearly 9pm to ask about the wifi as I misplaced the provided envelope. A friendly man answered and came down to help me. Very helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend

Terrible Experience - Avoid This Hotel!

The interior environment of the hotel is extremely outdated, and the bed linens were not clean. After sleeping for two nights, both my companion and I experienced itching and developed small red bumps on our skin. Additionally, the hotel did not inform us in advance that we were required to dispose of all our trash, including washing the dishes.

Despite checking out early, the hotel charged us a $100 cleaning fee and a late check-out fee. We had already thrown away all the trash and placed the used dishes and cups in the sink (because we couldn’t find any cleaning supplies like dish soap). When I inquired at the front desk about why we were being charged an additional cleaning fee after paying $1400 for our stay, the front desk staff rudely and disrespectfully said, “I don’t care how much you paid.”

We also paid a $500 deposit, but the additional charges were not deducted from the deposit; instead, we were asked to pay these fees separately.

This was extremely disappointing. Such a rude attitude, combined with the expectation that guests clean dishes without proper supplies, makes me seriously question the cleanliness standards of this hotel. I cannot imagine how poor their overall cleanliness must be!

Stayed in 3 bedroom deluxe (305) for a week - place was perfectly clean - bed linens and towels were clean and fresh. Decor is a bit dated but serviceable. Location is a stairway down to the Gully chairlift (not the main chairlift), however you can take Gully and then Eagle Express chairlifts (small traverses in between) to get to Cloud 9 for the snow sports school. Laundry available ($6 for each use for washer and dryer - the dryer wasn’t very effective unfortunately). Pool towels provided separately as well. Kitchen was fully equipped with enough cutlery, crockery, utensils for 8 ppl. Only drawback was that the sole source of fresh air was the door to the balcony, the bedrooms have skylight style windows between them but no windows otherwise. Became quite stuffy with the balcony door closed, can’t imagine in summer with no air con to boot. Couldn’t leave the balcony door open overnight as it was a shared balcony for the neighbouring rooms on the same floor. A 10 minute walk on the main road to the “valley 8” chairlift (Halley’s), which is also the location of the groceries (Foodworks) and lift pass office.

The location is alright. But it is far away from any major chairlifts which could be an inconvenience for some, the verbal room we stayed in was filthy, the bathrooms and shower were covered in other people hair and the bathtub was covered in some weird residue which caused myself and someone else staying with to get an infection. The bar and restaurant are always closed and the pool & sauna are really unhygienic don’t mind the place overall great view but it’s quiet grotty 🫣

Stayed here for a few nights recently with my husband and 2 teenage children. Was great being able to drive right up to the door and unload the car. They provide cages to take all your belongings to your room. Room was quite squishy and the photos online of the room did not match what the room is actually like. Apart from that, a great central place to stay.

Where do i start, we just love this place!|Reception ladies were so helpful. The beds were super comfy, and the fully equipped kitchen made mealtime so much easier. Click your skis on, walk down about 20 steps, and you're at the lifts ready for a day of fun.|The only downfall was that we had pretty bad weather and found it very hard to dry gear for 7 people in the tiny drying room available. We ended up having to put it in the tumble dryers, which was a real pain. We will definitely be coming back.
