The Golden Square Newsagency, run by the ever-friendly Bill Roberts, is a true institution in Golden Square. With decades of experience under their belt, they offer a wide variety of products including magazines, newspapers, cards, gifts, and they have also been a winning Tattslotto agency ticket seller too. But what I have found that really sets this team apart is their excellent customer service. The team, led by Bill himself, makes you feel like you're part of the "Cheers" gang, where everyone knows your name. Lots of clothes and odd nice looking stuff with a few newspapers so so much a newsagents really, there is a well frequented Lotto shop sadly very slow to get service with some coughing unmask woman behind me made it a less than ideal visit.
The staff know the regular customers which is nice worth a visit just to see what treasures you find in the shop.

This is a wonderful shop the staff are friendly and they can help with a majority of questions. Its a clean and well presented shop. The bonus is it has an agent for Bendigo bank and you can do your banking as well. Well done

Not many newsagents around any more. The usual variety of stationery, greeting cards, magazines, and pay for tattslotto and some bills. Shelving was correctly priced and there was care in the appearance of the store. Good customer service.

This newsagents has the lot fantastic people who are always very helpful with advice and service with a smile also has Bendigo bank i do everything in there and Bill the owner always helpful and greets everyone with a big welcome,you always leave there feeling good.and same goes for the post office next store.

Have been dealing with them for decades. Staff always friendly and cheerful, along with being helpful chasing up saved magazines. Bendigo Bank agency and teller machine as well.
