The 5 star newsagent deserves a medal. I watched an interaction with a Glenelg Woke Person (who looked like one of the Democrat Party Singers just on the American News).

This Glenelg woke-ster was big and mean. she was on about a bottle of fanta.

But the 5 star was able to navigate a raft of verbal abuse about the state of the Fanta Bottle - I looked and all the bottles were well within the use by date.

I just wish I could say the same about that Horrific Glenelg Bush Monster-Pig-Star.

I watched as Butch walked over Jetty Road in front of oncoming traffic - a true Glenelg Tradition.

I first came here to get weekend newspapers and some magazines twenty years ago when living nearby, now returned more recently and still have great supply of newspapers/magazines and very friendly service, always happy to have a chat and brighten up your morning/day.

I purchased a 600ml Fanta from the fridge, I opened it and took a sip. To my surprise it tasted bitter and flat. I looked at the date and it was dated 15th of October 2024 today is 30th December 2024.
I took it back in there and grabbed a water out the fridge and said to him I bought this about 5 minutes ago and that it’s out of date and tasted horrible. He looked at his computer blankly and said yep. I told him it was very disappointing to buy a flat and past it’s date drink to which he just looked at me scanned my water and didn’t reply to my comment. So I proceeded to tell him the rest of them in the fridge all have the same dates and shouod come out of the fridge and he continued to say yep cool and showed no interest. I left the Fanta on his bench and walked out. Very disappointing service, high price for an out of date drink that lost all its quality.

The guy working behind the kiosk is very friendly and a good range of products which you don’t see in other news agencies today. Give this shop a visit if you’re near by instead of the big branches such as ezy mart, it is also very reasonably priced.
