The art in silk was beautiful. The museum was very interesting, especially the horse racing area with photos of many horses that went on to win the Melbourne Cup.

What a surprise behind the doors. Loved the Yarns of Silk art. Just breathtaking. The remainder of the museum was so interesting, with displays of living in the past. So many well maintained areas. A highlight of our Deloraine trip

We were very impressed with the silk tapestry, and the museum, lots more to see than I’d envisaged. Well worth a visit, my husband was initially not keen, but he came away pleased he came. Thanks to all involved.

What an amazing place to visit. Staff and Volunteers are lovely and friendly and appreciate compliments. The Yarns Artwork is a must see and worth the small cash payment. Even my husband enjoyed the presentation. The museum is also wonderfully put together, check out the Female Prisoner Bonnets on display.

We visited today & so glad we did! The silk yarn exhibition is just stunning in the collage panels. Then to walk around the folk museum was fascinating, both indoors & outdoors. So much to look at in wonder. The volunteer ladies were really welcoming & helpful too. There is a small Cafe & shop too but we didn't venture into these

Great information centre from happy and polite people working there. Good shop of local products at a good price. The museum and show are fantastic and very informative, I spent almost two hours there looking around and found it a fantastic display of the area and a great way for people to get to know the history of the area for a small and reasonable price.

The women working here were some of the most kind, funny and engaging staff I have ever met. They seemed very happy with their jobs.

Very attentive to guests and within minutes we were in hysterics swapping stories.

Toilets were clean and easily accessible. Just be aware that light turns off if you don’t move after a while but you are not left completely in the dark. My advice is to take your phone in.
