They have now started selling new items, cost and materials are better for sure. Recently we I discovered that kmart quality is improving. Keep it up.

Went in today to get a cooking pot as i needed one. The pot that i grabbed was in front of a $25 ticket, so i obviously thought that this pot would be $25. Go to the checkout to pay, and as i scan it the prices comes at $32. So, i call over a worker and told her the problem. She got someone to check the price, and approved that it was actually $32 and that someone had placed it in the wrong spot. I tell her that there were multiple pots in front of that ticket so she sends me to over to the other worker who was checking the prices. They show me a $25 ticket AND a $32 ticket. Pots being in the middle of both. I hadn’t seen this ticket until they had showed me. But funny enough, pots were in front of the $25 more. Yes i should have checked the ticket properly, BUT if the item of that ticket wasn’t there, then the ticket shouldn’t have been there. They said that it’s not their fault that someone had placed the pot there, but as she was saying that she goes and moves the back pot to the front where i had grabbed mine. Stores are not allowed to place different items in front of a ticket that does not match the item, this is false advertising. Little did they know, i was on the phone to a family member who use to be a manager in a grocery store not long ago so policies have not changed since then.
Kmart staff members are clueless and obviously do not know the laws on these type of things. They have also done this to me multiple times in the past.
Don’t reckon i’ll be going back, and don’t recommend buying from there.

Terrible customer service. I bought a pants two days ago and the reception forgot to remove the security buckle and the invoice has no inks. It’s ok for me because it happened sometimes. But when I went back yesterday and asked them to remove it they treated me like thief and leave me standing there for 20 minutes. The woman even showing off her new tattoos to her colleagues without dealing with my situation actively.

Very disappointed with the service at Kmart. We went to buy a table tennis table listed as in stock online. After not finding it on the shelves, we asked a staff member to help. A young woman came over, and we asked her to check if the table was available, perhaps in the back. She disappeared for less than two minutes and came back with a clear lie: she told us they sold the last one yesterday and the system hadn't updated. It was obvious she didn’t even bother to check and just assumed we’d believe anything she said.

We didn’t buy the story. We made a trip back home and ordered the same table online through Click & Collect. Less than an hour later, we received a notification that our order was ready for pickup-at the exact same store. We returned and collected it without a problem. This kind of attitude from staff is unacceptable. If you don't want to do your job, there are plenty of people who will. Customers aren’t stupid, and lying to them is insulting. I strongly suggest management take this seriously and provide proper training. Honesty and basic respect should be the minimum standard in customer service.

Kmart shopping is next level brilliant. The products are fantastic and the pricing value equally as fantastic. Great to see front door staff checking on COVID check in Tas compliance. Super easy customer service and click & collect. Kmart has just about everything one would need other than major electrical appliances like Big screen TV's, fridges and washing machines which is a pity Because they'd beat the other big retailers hands down for service, price and value.

Ask for price matching, have been told that they don’t match if no store in Devonport .
That’s the first time I heard of that. End up got it in Harvey Norman with price matched.

I'm happy to use self service but please staff the registers with enough people to handle any errors/issues during self checkout. This is a management failure and has nothing to do with the great staff on the frontline who provide a great service.
