I engaged Milkman to rebrand my business and they did a great job - the creative team were wonderful. However I wish I had stopped there. I then engaged them to build a new website, and the results have been extremely disappointing, frustrating and costly. I made it clear many times throughout the build process that I needed it to be easy to use and update whenever I needed to, as I had been with my former site, with zero issues. Each time I was told it would be super easy and that they would always be available to call on if help was needed. However as soon as the website was handed over, they advised they weren’t doing website work any more, making it difficult for me to get ongoing support, or even responses to emails. I have since hired someone else to help me fix all the things we’ve discovered weren’t working properly or weren’t set up properly to begin with, so after spending $10,000 on a custom build (which I didn’t really need - a template site would have been simpler, cheaper and easier for me to upkeep), there are now significant ongoing costs, extra workload, and also significant business interruption during our busiest period. To not even receive responses to emails, after spending around $30,000 with this company in a 12 month period (significant for a small biz) is pretty poor management. I offered some feedback via email and was ignored, hence the review.
