I contacted prior to coming in today and the service from the phone call right to me walking out of the store was flawless. My first experience earlier in the year getting my new phone left me underwhelmed but Emma and Ricky really went above and beyond for me today. They literally moved mountains to make sure that I got the products I wanted, tracking stock at other stores and organising the pick up. I also felt so valued, Emma made mention of my loyalty and commitment saying how great my repayment history has been, the number of services that I have, made me feel so appreciated not just as a customer but also as a person. Optus Macarthur, in particular Emma and Ricky have absolutely given me something to rave about with my telco provider, not many can say that given the telco world in Australia right now.

I purchased a Samsung S24+ with accessories and upgraded to post-paid billing at this Optus branch (Sales order #4747025, Dec 7). While the initial sales experience was positive, I discovered a missing screen protector upon unpacking at home. My immediate rush back to the store same day within an hour or two, and attempts to resolve this issue over the past week have been frustrating and unsuccessful.

Despite multiple visits, including today (Dec 14), I've been unable to speak with a manager who apparently only works Mon-Fri, 9AM-3PM per their staff. The staff has been unhelpful and unable to resolve the issue without the manager's presence.

This experience has been disappointing and doesn't reflect the branch's online reviews. The stark contrast in customer service pre- and post-sale is concerning. I caution potential customers to be wary when dealing with this branch, as it may not uphold the standards expected of the Optus brand.

My wife and I are in our 80s and modern technology is very hard for us. Yesterday we needed help with our mobile phone. Emma, who assisted us was very professional and friendly and patient with us.
