My long range fuel tank made by Out of Town 4WD developed crack while driving Gibb River Road. I was not surprised as the corrugation was horrendous especially on the road to Kalumburu. The fuel tank was under warranty. When I contacted Out of Town 4WD, I was assured that the tank will be replaced. They made me feel comfortable at every stage of the replacement process by everyone from the top level manager to workshop employees. The company is just lucky to have such people. It is very rare to see a company like this these days. I have faith when they said they have strengthened it more this time and it will never happen again to the new tank.

Exceptional customer service. I drove over from interstate to get a 120L 'Long Ranger' tank installed to my Toyota FJ Cruiser by the folks at Out of Town 4WD. The process right from ordering the Long Range tank to getting it fitted was about as simple as it gets. While I was waiting for the installation and because I was without my vehicle for most of the day, the manager offered to give me a ride to and pick me up from a location of my choice - a simple gesture but one that was nonethelesss appreciated. During the installation of the tank I was advised by the manager that staff at The Long Ranger had identified an unrelated issue with my 4WD which they rectified then and there free of charge. Since the installation of the tank, the range on my 4WD has nearly tripled; going from a measley 400 kilometres to almost 1200 kilometres. I can't yet comment on the longevity of the product, but the tank looks and feels durable and well made and I look forward to getting a lot of use out of it. The fuel tank automatically comes with a mod plate to show compliance with relevant legislation and ASNZ welding standards. Big thanks to everyone at Out of Town 4WD and The Long Ranger, but in particular to Darron and Warren who made me feel very welcome.

I recently had an ARB winch bar, ARB Intensity IQ lights and Bushranger winch fitted to my 300 Series Landcruiser. Also had a suspension upgrade to help with towing our caravan and Clearview towing mirrors were also fitted. An electronic brake unit and associated wiring with Anderson plug fitted.
The service from Out Of Town 4x4 was outstanding, great advice on components, easy to talk to, accommodating approach to service, an overall flexible process which builds a confidence in their capacity to deliver the goods. Thanks Joel and the team from OoT 4x4 for helping to finish my Landcruiser. I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Thanks to Warren and the guys for looking after me. They took the time to listen to what I do and made suggestions that were not based just on price.
The installation was top notch even down to the marking of the bolts so things can be easily monitored.

I had an awesome experience with Out of Town 4WD, 2 weeks before Christmas I found a issue with my rear diff I rang up and was able to get the car in the following day for out of town to inspect what it could be after seeing the problem they were willing to help me out in such a busy period and worked around the clock to fit it in and get my car back on the road so I could have it back for the Christmas break. It was really easy to work with the team to get it done and they went above and beyond for me not only to get it done but also check over a few other things on my car and letting me know that they will need to be done soon as well
