First Property Manager was awful; Tried to get away with moving us into a property stained and soaked in nicotine after promising to have it fixed before we moved in. We discovered this the day we got the keys. She was rude throughout that process and tried to push us to cancel our Lease as we camped in a friend's lounge room for weeks.

We move in to find the apartment wasn't properly cleaned but at that point we were exhausted and afraid to push anymore. With lots of maintenance outstanding, we cleaned what we could and moved in. Even the Manager of the office stopped contacting us with help.

6 months later our Lease is up for renewal, but unbeknownst to us our original Property Manager had left and the person who stepped in was also leaving. We had weeks of radio silence when asking about the Lease and the renewal date was drawing ever closer. The person who stepped in was lovely and made sure we knew our rights (the 1 star is for her). We signed with an increase of rent.

Come to today, the cyclone came and went, and we find water coming through the power box in our kitchen. Communication with our upstairs neighbour reveals that leaks through electrical components are commonplace.

I wish I could easily leave but being disabled during a rental crisis is hell.

I would never recommend this real estate.

Recommended Agent . We found Justin to be a really good communicator which was important for us being based interstate. He had good local area knowledge and sought the best price efficiently without over inflating expectations to secure the job, or seeking an easy sale. We encountered huge rainfall and storms during our sale period (once in 10 year storms apparently) and the team proactively managed everything to ensure the property was always presented at its best for opens, irrespective of the unique weather conditions. We also received support coordinating general maintenance works prior to sale to ensure the property was presented at its best. We would recommend Justin if you are looking to sell.
