My wife, Kim & I spent the afternoon of Australia Day at the Rest Point Family Hotel in Copmanhurst at the invitation of our colleagues in the band.
We had a fabulous time !!!
Everything was spot on; the setting with the outdoor entertainment area, the friendly & efficient staff, the entertainment with the band playing the right mix of songs, the food was awesome (I had the Hawaiian Chicken Schnitzel - OMG! It was superb.).
All in all a very enjoyable afternoon. Whilst we know every Sunday isn't going to have the advantage of being Australia Day we think you are on a winner there & encourage you to stage a similar event at least monthly. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you.

Our local pub is a great place for a Sunday lunch. Sitting out on the terrace, looking out over the country side, sharing a few drinks and good food with friends and family is about as good as it gets. It is aptly named.

I was here 3 years ago on New years eve and got a top steak with salad and chips to a very fair price. This year they only had burgers. If i could give 0 stars on this i would. Standard bun size. Bottom part of bun was hard and dry. Nothing to be excited about here! Also a tiny chips portion for 25 dollars. For 25 bucks i would have expected somthing top. This definatly wasnt and just plain theft!

We had our wedding at the Clarence River nearby then back to the pub for lunch, dancing and drinks. The outdoor area was decorated nicely and really made it a beautiful day.

I didn’t expect that we’d all be eating at the same time but the kitchen was absolutely on point and everyone enjoyed their delicious meals at once.

I take my Hat off to Mick and Renah for turning the pub around so Quick from a stop in to have a beer to a great Family Pub. The food is Awsome and the service is great.The atmosphere is truly peaceful. Congratulations to you both and all employees. It is a top achievement and good luck for the future.
