I have dropped off parcels to be picked up by sendle here multiple times with no issues.

Today, however, the lady I was served by was quite rude about the whole thing. I went up to the counter and I said "hey im just dropping this off for sendle" and she said that they dont do sendle orders and I told her that they did as I've done it here multiple times before. She said she has been "working there for years" and hasn't had a sendle.

She said they "weren't a post office," (if you have a postal service aka sendle then yes a part of your business is a post office) and ask if I booked for it to be picked up and she said "how are they supposed to know its here if its not booked" and then when she looked up the number of my package, it was there. She then asked if it was a return, and I said well its not a return as the person just brought it.

I do my orders through eBay, and they send out the labels and organise all of the shipping. I wish this was handled in a more friendly way than what it came off as.

If the owner decides to respond, as to the other review, there is no need to be that disrespectful to the customers, and you should handle it more professionally/friendly. If she was more friendly about the whole thing, there would be no issue. It also looks very unprofessional to beef with a customer over a review like?

The only reason for this 2 star review is for the man that works here who is really friendly and nice.

Attached are some other orders of mine sent through sendle dropped off at Shoal Bay newsagent, which i have no issues before. Attached is also sendles official website saying this place supports sendles ❣️❣️❣️

The lady that owns this business is so rude and has no customer service skills. I went in to purchase lottery tickets and I know you have to be 18 to do so but my kids get a thrill out of picking one each. She yelled at my children numerous times for trying to say what they wanted. Like I said I completely understand it’s gambling and they aren’t adults but speak to me in a professional manner. She rattled the children and could have been so much nicer about it. It doesn’t take much to be nice. Speak professionally and don’t confront peoples children. Really not a good look. Very disappointing.

Great local newsagency with friendly staff who go out of their way to help. Bonus is as well as the wide range of newsagency regular items and decorative ideas, and beach gear in the side room, I get any printing required at very reasonable rates. Shoal Bay Newsagency is the best in the Bay!

Today I was asked to stop my toddler from taking interest in toy cars placed within his height level due to COVID restrictions. Not sure if this was to protect my 2 year old from COVID or to protect others from my 2 year old. If they don't want kids to touch their precious merchandise why place them on their height level?
