I've been a member of social soup for a few years now and absolutely love it! From the supermarket samples to bigger projects like dog food sampling ( 15kg bag!!). The recent Aussie parcel scanner has to be my favourite, simply scanning every parcel that I get delivered with a chance to win $5-$100 at any given time ( which I've won twice! For barely any work) I recently won their monthly scanning prize also and couldn't be more thankful.

It takes a little while to get invited to projects when you first start, but once invited and you show that you're willing to give the feedback required, you will get invited to more and more!

I highly recommend social soup!

I’ve been a participant with Social soup for over 10 years. I’ve done many projects and received some fun things to review but the Aussie parcel project has been my favourite. When I found out I’d won $1000 in gift cards I was thrilled! I’m a mum of three I (probably boringly) cashed all my winnings for groceries; but can I tell you that having that stash there for food was very exciting for me! Especially as around the same time I had car rego due and all the normal expenses that come with life which add up very quickly these days.

I cannot praise Social Soup highly enough with all the interactions I’ve had with them. There was no one more shocked than me when I received an email to say I was one of the monthly winners of the Aussie Parcel Project and that I’d won $1,000 😳! At first I thought it was a scam, but it wasn’t. The e-gift card arrived and I nervously used it for the first time at Sketchers - it worked a treat. I felt like I got the pair of runners for nothing 🤣. The list and variety of shops that I can use the e-gift card is extensive and I look forward to continuing to use the card for many more purchases.

This company is horrible. They recruited my mum, who is in her 70s and lives with disability, into their Aussie Parcel Research Project in September 2024.

This past month, she's scanned almost 50 times and only won $5. "Shanelle" from their team has been talking down to her whilst she has chased her $60 payment from their December promotion, which only came after 3 weeks of silence.

Not only are they lowballing participants with payments, but they're in violation of confidentiality guidelines (Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research) by leaking participants' personal information in surveys (where other participants' scanned deliveries are being shown).

Would not recommend participating in their projects - you won't be compensated fairly and would just be another number to them. Just another shonky marketing company hiding behind new faces and trends. I encourage you to report them to The Research Society if you experience anything like this.

I won $1000 for participating in the parcel survey. I never win anything so was stoked to win! I converted the $1000 into $100 gift cards for my preferred supermarkets so will be saving on groceries for a few months 🙂

Despite contributing to this business through campaigns for over 15 years the most recent dolce and gabanna project was an absolute shambles. I followed their instructions only to be told not to purchase anything after I had already emailed them to say I had purchased. I have attempted for close to a week to get in touch with them (no phone number to speak of) to be reimbursed as they had promised - only to be met by silence. I’m out of pocket $170 at Christmas which is a stress I could do without. Avoid these scammers!!

I have collaborated with Social Soup a handful of times and always been impressed with the communication, support and follow up. They work with great brands that are meaningful and legitimately have awesome products.

The reason I decided to finally write a review on Social Soup is because of the experience I’ve just had with Cara N! I’m currently involved in a campaign and unable to source the product locally, so Cara showed up at my front door with the product AND a box of chocolates (because I forgot Valentines Day)!!

This may seem nice, BUUUUUT Cara is from Victoria, and I live in Sydney. She came to Sydney for business, and detoured from the airport to my home with the product!! This is seriously next level customer service that has really blown me away!!

What an absolute pleasure and text book perfect example of ‘going above and beyond’ … if I were a client of Cara’s, I’d be enthusiastically signing up for another campaign!

Thank you Social Soup for putting the customer at the heart of what you do!
