There was no time to lose. I had just been asked to launch one of the nation’s biggest news story – an alarming survey of Australia’s schools principals. The survey results were shocking. It found school principals were being violently attacked and bullied by both students and parents alike! What’s worse the violence was increasing year after year, was rife in both public and private schools and occurring in every state and territory.

I knew the story was story was so hot that it could go national. But the survey respondent names were confidential. We had no case studies!
