I wish I read these reviews before I spend my money on these eggs. I’ve heard of the term “rotten egg” before but had never seen one before, until I cracked open these eggs. Not just one rotten egg, MULTIPLE rotten eggs across two cartons that were supposedly well within date. Absolutely disgusting and can make someone really bloody sick. Eggs aren’t exactly cheap these days, and these lot are in the bin. I’ll never be buying from this company again. Coles should pull them off the shelf.

As a Chef, these have been the absolute worst and most revolting eggs I have ever had the displeasure of receiving in a delivery. If I could give negative stars, I would.
I work for a small business in Brisbane, and with the current egg shortage, we've been unable to get our usual brand—this brand has been the only one available. We’ve been purchasing 2 or 3 wholesale boxes (6 trays of 30) each week for the past 4 or 5 weeks.
Every single delivery to date has included at least one box containing rotten eggs. Beyond that, multiple boxes have arrived with visible mold contamination on separate occasions, and in one alarming instance, MAGGOTS were discovered inside. This is not only a serious health hazard but also a clear violation of food safety standards.
This week was the final straw—both boxes arrived without a best-before date and were filled with rotten and expired eggs.
Even when the eggs aren't visibly rotten or contaminated, the 500g cartons contain eggs with inconsistent size and weights. We normally purchase the 700g size, but they’ve been unavailable, this substitution has proven unreliable. The size variation makes recipe scaling frustrating and unreliable.
I now dread deliveries when I see these eggs come in instead of a reputable brand, knowing I’ll spend valuable time sorting through them for spoilage and dealing with the stench of rotten eggs. This brand is completely unacceptable for commercial use, and I cannot recommend it under any circumstances

My local IGA supermarket was recently out of the brand of free range eggs I have been buying for years. Saw Surf Coast Eggs as a new addition to the eggs area next to the empty spot of my long term favourites. Decided to pay the extra for the 100grams less and try them. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE NOW. I'M TRULY IN LOVE WITH THESE EGGS by Surf Coast Eggs. I'm about to finish my third carton now. No white shelled eggs, all always brown! Rich orangey yolks that taste amazing and the whites taste fantastic as well. I knew eggs could be good but never THIS GOOD! These eggs are even better than the home grown eggs I was raised on. To the people reading this, TRY THEM! THEY ARE SO WORTH IT. YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

Hey Everyone I bought this brand ( looked Top end supporting local with a story on packaging today from Coles) got home only to find expiry date on the eggs is a few days away So I Kept my reciept rang only to be told when I rang contact coles our farms are dealing with Bird Flu which sure it happens but my issue is what is a single man going to do with a Doz eggs in a cpl days when I have cheaper brand I bought woolies 3 weeks ago has way more date and why would I eat these after being told about their bird flu story. Look all I wanted to do was swap them over for more dated eggs. Omg then without using the QR code to read prob what I thought would be a amazing story about a farm is just a brand marketing company who just has eggs packed for them & sent to stores. Not great customer feeling no warm and fuzzies prob dont have any eggs there at all. I'll never buy this brand again I would rather now go to my local egg farm get a whole tray of mixed sizes for the same price where I can see the chickens from the outlet store. Love coles not their fault hopefully after a call to Head Office and local store they send everything back for a credit. Total disappointment I felt they didnt care about their end users let Coles sort out. Wake up everyone packaging is just a marketing ploy to buy a product with nothing like say a shelf company type thing. I get farmers are having problems I'm happy to eat cereal or baked beans for months. Have a great day to you all. 🤞

These are not good eggs and they are not
located near the coast, unless you believe 50kms inland is coastal? Sadly this is pure marketing spin and not a patch on quality eggs like Caravan.
