Excellent place to visit and see the amazing art work on the Silos which is beautiful. Make sure you view them both sides so you don't miss anything. A highly recommended place to visit and a lovely country town as well. There are great paintings on some of the buildings around town of old food, drink, petrol and household goods signs that are great to see

Incredible place. Artists who do these must be incredibly talented. We showed up to see the art but we're surprised by the twilight markets next door. Quite serendipitous.

This is an incredible site to see. Although it doesn’t have much signage explaining the story, you can do your research on their website and learn how amazing this place is and what it represents. This was worth the detour for sure.

The silos were painted in April and May 2018 by artist Guido Van Helten.

Using the site of the mural as a natural focus, the artist heard from former employees and Portland natives alike to piece together a view of this former industrial community known as ‘the town that built Sydney.’

We were so pleased we called in to see these painted silos, it is spectacular. The artist has captured the characters beautifully and the detail is exquisite. This is a must see and don't miss for tourists.
