It’s a great experience all round. Supportive team from other contractors and from coaching and leadership team. If you’re willing to put in the hard yards, you will go far. I recommend giving it a full four week go before you have an opinion on it and persevere when the going gets tough. Something beautiful happens on the other side when you keep going. It’s fun meeting people from all walks of life, contractors and customers alike. You get to go to different shopping centres each day and week, regular crew nights and road trips available and definitely room for growth. If you’re looking for the experience of a lifetime and want to get away from working as an employee and want to do contracting, here’s your chance, don’t waste it.

The work environment is generally positive and the management team is supportive. However, there are some important things to be aware of. The $400 retainer offered during the first 4 weeks is conditional—you must make at least one sale per day across five shifts to qualify, or you will only get 80$ the first sale of the day is 20$ and fuel costs aren’t reimbursed. Travel is often required, but you don’t get a say in whether or not you're sent on a trip, and accommodation costs are only covered if you hit a high sales target that very few people actually reach. It’s possible to work 40 hours and still only make around $320 a week. Turnover is high, and most employees don’t stay longer than a month.
Honestly, if you don’t have any bills and don’t mind spending a lot of time for potentially low pay, this job might be for you. Just make sure you fully understand the compensation structure before committing

I am currently employed at TMT Marketing and am really enjoying my experience so far. The two coaches are great, they help you and only want the best for you. The manager, some people may find quite harsh but he doesn’t beat round the bush gets straight to the point. I personally think is really good. They take you on road trips, giving you the opportunity to learn and grow in the role. Team activities also take place, on Tuesday mornings the team get together for breakfast. A workshop takes place, in order to learn new skills and better our performance. Everyone talks and answers any questions along with providing support.

TMT is the perfect gig if you want to build confidence, level up your social skills and eventually make some good bank IF, and only IF, you are willing to stick with it for at least 2 months. You will suffer, and you will go home some days with 0 sales. That's normal and part of the game. But with Brendan and his team you have a solid foundation to help you delve into the realms of face to face sales. Keep in mind that TMT itself is also evolving and changing constantly, they are aware of their own imperfections and try to work on their shortcomings.
