A random stop in for our group. We walked down stairs to be greeted by Sam who assured us the kids were welcome and proceeded to set them up with some chips, a drink and zooper dooper and drawing so us adults could enjoy the wine tasting experience.

Sam was so knowledgeable, explained the different wines we we tasting and then let us taste some Tawny and Muscat. We all left with wines to enjoy when we're home. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Had the privilege of spending time with Michelle and Finlay at a wine tasting and couldn't be happier. Their patience and expertise was extremely appreciated especially as I'm knew to red wine. My wife and I look forward to our next trip to the Barossa as we'll definitely be stopping by again.

The best wine tasting EVER!!!

Arrived in Tanunda for a friends wedding and came here on the recommendation from staying at Tanunda cottages next door.

We were taken care of, by Jodie who suggested some great wines and tasters to accompany!

The wines are of a really high quality and went down rather easily.

A great experience and I’ve been on a few wine tasters in my lifetime this is one of the best. I live in the UK but would definitely return again and would hands down recommend to any travellers looking for a great Barossa experience 😻

The service was nice until our lovely person changed to someone else and she was extremely aggressive and confrontational on any questions asked. When we were leaving we asked if the deposit paid for tastings is deductible from the purchase of wine (as is with most wineries) and she curtly told us that it is up to management and she has chosen not to let us buy with the tasting deposit being deducted. Hence we did not buy anything. We were all appalled by the treatment we received from this particular lady. I cannot recommend going here.

Amy and Sam looked after my guests of 4 adults today, the service, atmosphere and wine tasting presentation was all perfect, clients commented on their lovely experience and purchased a Grenache and a Tawny for the weekend treat.

I recommend you book a wine tasting experience and enjoy the traditional service that you deserve.

My wife and I paid a visit to Sam and the team at Underground.

First thing that struck me was the beautiful set up they had in their underground winery. Nestled amongst original wine 'vaults' where wine was stored and cooled back before good old refrigeration tech, the design was really authentic and quite unique compared to other cellar doors.

Sam gave us a full history and story of the original owners and wine makers, into their 3rd generation now with much of the family members making their own brands at the winery.

They store fortified on-site in large and small barrels, which adds to the atmosphere.

This winery is a must-see. It has a more boutique and personal feel compared to some of the bigger wineries and the wine itself is top drawer.

Ten points to Amy and the many Maddies. Everyone really knew their stuff, and really cared about sharing the wines and all the family stories with us.

Amy and Maddie-the-elder managed to fit us in on an unexpectedly busy Thursday afternoon, and both of them still managed to make us feel well looked after and well informed. Excellent service all round!

Thanks especially to Amy who recommended various Mildura paddle steamer options to us. I love a paddle steamer and by golly did she deliver.

Bought a couple of bottles on top of our tasting, and they both remain some of the best drops we've had in the region.

The fortified wine was bloody good too. We'll be back if I ever recover.
